Through AblePrint, our student-led print studio, learners develop creative, production and workplace skills by completing real customer orders in a real production environment — building confidence, independence and employability alongside EHCP-linked learning.
Our SEND Print and Creative Media course combines creativity, practical learning and employability. All through meaningful projects and real products.
AblePrint is Brighter Futures Specialist College's student-led print studio. This provides genuine workplace experience rather than classroom simulation.
Learners gain experience by working on:

Learners are introduced to print production, design and workplace routines.
Learners build practical competence and contribute to customer projects with increasing independence.
Learners focus on responsibility, quality standards and real-world production workflows.
Learners benefit from a structured, supportive approach designed around their individual needs.
Progress is monitored through practical achievement, increased independence and Preparing for Adulthood outcomes. Where appropriate, learners may also work towards ASDAN accreditation and recognised qualifications.
